SURE-MELT® - Waterproofing with Surety
SURE-MELT® is a robust bituminous system with the following advantages:
Triple protection:
SURE-MELT®️ features a three-layer system to include double layers of bituminous membrane reinforced with a layer of fleece and a protection sheet for unbeatable robustness and durability. Protection sheets offer a choice of torch-on, sand faced and root resistant membranes.
Weatherproofing:
An effective waterproofing system, SURE-MELT®, protects against water ingress and prevents any water from tracking beneath the membrane.
Properties in relation to fire:
SURE-MELT® can enable a BroofT4 specification that is unrestricted under national building regulations, when used in protected or inverted roof specifications, including an inorganic covering.
Wind uplift resistance:
The system bonds fully to the substrate and is not susceptible to wind uplift.
Damage resistance:
While reasonable care should be taken to avoid unnecessary puncturing from sharp objects or loading, SURE-MELT® is a self-healing bituminous waterproofing system resistant to damage from normal foot traffic and light loading during construction and operational phases.
Low maintenance:
SURE-MELT®️ requires minimal maintenance for long-term performance. Thanks to its self-healing properties, the system is robust enough to withstand point loads, abrasion and wear and tear during the construction phase. The roof should be inspected regularly and maintained per BS 6229:2018 but it is designed to provide a 30+ year low maintenance service life.
