SST – Structural Spacer Tape

ARBOPROTECT Pro®

ARBOPROTECT Pro® SST is a specialised load-bearing PVC foam tape, designed to act as a spacing element between the insulated glass (IG) unit and frame during the assembly of structural glazing fabrications. SST forms an effective short-term bond between the frame and the IG unit, creating a gap of the correct dimensions for the structural silicone, which is used as the primary bond.

Unique properties of ARBOPROTECT Pro® SST

ARBOPROTECT PRO® SST eases the assembly of structural glazing elements by forming an effective short-term bond that holds the IG unit in correct position while the structural silicone is applied and cures. It is compatible with Ultraglaze Structural Silicone.
