ARBOBOND Pro®

The B2 Adhesive Foam is a product of the ARBOBOND Pro® category and is used as a polyurethane adhesive for fixing and bonding construction materials. It is suitable for insulation systems and general construction applications where adhesion and insulation are required.

What substrates are ARBOBOND Pro® adhesives suitable for?
ARBOBOND Pro® adhesives are formulated for use with EPDM and a wide range of common construction substrates including aluminium (polyester powder coated and other finishes), galvanised finishes, PVCu, mineral boards, concrete, masonry and timber. ARBO® AFS Primer is recommended for porous substrates. Contact ARBO® Technical Services for advice on untested substrates.

What temperature range can ARBOBOND Pro® adhesives be applied in?
ARBOBOND Pro® adhesives must not be applied at temperatures below +5°C or where relative humidity is below 40%. The upper application temperature limit varies by product — refer to the individual product TDS. Service temperatures typically range from -40°C to +120°C or higher.

How long is the service life of ARBOBOND Pro® adhesives?
ARBOBOND Pro® adhesives are designed for long-term performance, with a service life of 20 years or more under normal conditions. Storage life is up to 12 months in original unopened packaging stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

ARBO® Technical Services provides full guidance on product selection, surface preparation, primer requirements and application methods for ARBOBOND Pro® adhesives. NBS specification support and direct contact with technical advisors are available for project-specific enquiries.
